Macau Day 2- Part 1
We got up early to start off the day. Since breakfast is included, we had a simple breakfast at the executive lounge in the hotel. It is exclusive for premier floor customers, located at 23rd floor of the hotel, very ideal for those who need a quite place for breakfast and newspaper reading.
After that, we headed to HK-Macau ferry terminal to catch a ferry to Macau. The journey took exactly an hour and it was pleasant one. Turbojet departs every 15mins, so it's very convenient!
We checked in at Mandarin Oriental in Macau.
Then, we went to an authentic Portoguese restaurant for lunch. This restaurant is well known among the locals in serving the best Portuguese food. Do check it out!
Rua do Almirante Sergio, 289, Macau
Opening hours: Wed-Mon 12:30-3pm and 6:30-11pm
For starter, we had Portuguese sausages...a bit too salty even it taste good. However, for beer drinker is nice to have it along.
The local beer, taste quite smooth
Then, comes the main:
1) Oxtail stew - it was superb!
The sauce goes well with the bread
2) Portuguese style chicken - this is normal...nothing to shout about
3) The clams - cooked with rice wine Portuguese style - hmm...this was yummy, we ordered 2 sets of it..everybody loves it!
4) Portuguese style grilled fish
If I am not mistaken, total damage including 2 bottles of beer and fruit juice was MOP 650/=, per head is less than RM40/=...reasonable?!!I think yes.
I shall continue part 2 to share more nice food in Macau...stay tune!
