We went to this corner coffee shop, Taman Emas Kopitiam for "tea break" during our Penang trip in December. It is directly located opposite Penang Chinese Girls' School.
We had a nice foot massage at Puteri Ledang located at Level 4@ Gurney Plaza. So, having a bowl of deliciously fragant Penang Laksa really filled up our hungry stomach like anything.
Since I do not like the sweetness of prawn paste, I feel ignoring it makes the laksa taste better.
My friend told me they usually dip the fried popiah sold here to the laksa soup and it taste good. Just like in Ipoh, we add yong tou fu and other "lius" in our soupy noodles.
I would like to highlight the chai koay, it tastes so good. The ingredients was generous, and the skin was soft. I want more of it...lovely chai koay!
The laksa stall opens at 2pm-5pm. Closed on Monday.
